PAN is a Thematic Network on Cultural Landscapes and their Ecosystems. The PAN network gathers active research groups and mobilizes knowledge to develop an overall understanding of man as a landscaping factor. PAN will develop common research strategies, filling of gaps in "know-what, -where and -why" in ecosystem and landscape functioning and their sustainable usage. PAN operates by close collaboration during workshops and excursions to a diverse set of Cultural Landscapes and Ecosystems. |
